Witnessing of signatures on behalf of Alpha Group clients

We would like to advise both clients of and our colleagues in Alpha Bank in Greece, Cyprus and Romania that currently due to Covid Restrictions our office in London is, in accordance with UK Government Covid Advice regarding working from home where possible, closed. Although we continue to work remotely, we are therefore currently unable to accommodate any requests for clients of Alpha Bank entities to witness signatures.

At this point we do not know when we will be re-opening the Alpha Bank London office, but when we do so we will be adopting a hybrid working policy with staff only physically present in the office one day a week. As a consequence we will therefore not be in a position going forward to book appointments or accept casual visitors for the witnessing of documents. You will have to use a local UK notary or solicitor for the purpose of witnessing any signatures and you will be responsible for any fee applicable.

Kindly note that although the office is physically closed:
• we remain contactable through our usual telephone numbers and e-mail
• we are able to process your banking transactions and investment instructions as normal
• with regard to execution of investment instructions and foreign exchange we can take orders up until 4.30pm UK Time
